Engraver / Graphics Designer
Under minimal supervision, handles customer service, sales requests and operates computer controlled rotary and laser engraving machines. Accepts and processes product and fabrication orders. Prepares invoices, enters orders, receives payments. May estimate costs of fabricated orders and provide quotes to customers. Must have good communication skills (in English), good math skills, computer literate, ability to use measuring devices. Minimum of one year experience in computer graphics layout with Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. Experience in inventory control and ability to use 10-key calculator.
Machine Operator – Sheet Metal
Must have recent experience with various shop equipment in a production setting, basic shop machines; end mill, shear, roll, band saw, grinders, drill press/drills and other common hand tools etc. Ability to use precision measuring devices, such as dial calipers, tape measure. Must be able to work from samples, drawings, or written specifications and the ability to read and understand blueprints. Use of various types of precision sheet metal equipment in an effort to turn raw materials into completed product. 1 year experience using TIG and MIG welders, air tools, drill presses and other generic shop equipment. This position may involve day, swing and/or split shifts with some occasional overtime.
CNC Press Brake Operator
Under minimal supervision, sets up all types of precision sheet metal equipment and performs highly repetitive types of machine operations associated with quality production of identical units. Starts, stops, feeds, operates and maintains maintenance on the equipment. 2 years recent experience operating a CNC press brake, preferably Amada, forming a variety of materials including, but not limited to; pre-plated steel, mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum in various thicknesses. Ability to use precision measuring devices, such as gauges, dial calipers and tape measure. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Customer Service Clerk
Under general supervision, handles customer request for sales, service, or product information, received by telephone, fax, or email. Responds to requests for quotations, order, and lead times from customers. Inputs orders and relays pertinent order information for processing. Coordinates with other departments in handling purchase orders and providing services to customers.
Machine Operator I – CNC/Vac
CNC: Under general supervision, performs highly repetitive types of short cycle machine operations associated with quality production of identical units. Starts, stops, feeds and tends machine. Checks for proper operation and proper output. Perform elementary inspections, clean and make minor adjustments. Vac: Under general supervision, operates Thermoforming machine to produce molded products or parts from plastic sheets. Preheats Thermoforming machines to specified temperature and start machine cycling. Maintains continuous attention to heat, position of tooling and vacuum pressure. Removes molded products from machine. May trim parts produced.
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations performed within the Company’s manufacturing/production facility. Involved in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and incorporating efficient methods of maintaining equipment. Through the product phase, responsible for developing strategies/programs to improve useful life, reliability, and safety, and to reduce the incident of costly breakdowns of plant, equipment and machinery. Responsible for providing site safety leadership, ensuring facility compliance with current safety standards, implementation of safety directives, and ensuring that facility safety policies and procedures are aligned with current government regulations. Serve as chairperson for the Tripp Enterprises Safety Committee.
Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the Engineering Department. Plans and formulates engineering projects, organizes staff according to project requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project, such as technical duties, product designs, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing, in accordance with customer request. Reviews product design for compliance with company standards, engineering disciplines, customer specifications/contract requirements and related specifications. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Directs integration of technical activities and products.
